Also, one day, the front desk told us they had service to get me down the road to my conference and next day I was told they don’t provide the service. Inconsistent. I had to scramble to get there. We did get to enjoy the 20 person hot tub which was well managed. There is even a roof deck (eagles nest) which had heaters, couches, fireplace and tv. The location is excellent, with easy access to Lionshead and Golden Peak ski areas, and the complimentary shuttle service was fantastic for commuting to the ski towns. However, several aspects fell short of Marriott standards. The weekday breakfast menu was repetitive and limited, with no bread for sandwiches, no fruit salad or cut fruit, and only waffles added on weekends. When I asked the manager about rotating the menu, his response was dismissive and unfriendly. Housekeeping was also inconsistent—though the front desk stated refresh service every three nights and full service every four, it was not done until requested. Additionally, the building lacks proper noise insulation, and conversations from adjacent rooms were disruptive at night. While the shuttle and location were strong positives, the overall experience was average due to poor breakfast, service, and housekeeping. The room was beautiful and the people were kind. I’m rating the stay a 1 because the fridge didn’t work and it ruined the food we had put in there. I told front desk and no compensation was offered or anything. Also they charges me 150 for incidentals which is fine because it’s 50 nights a stay and I paid for 3 days of parking 45 per night, fine again however they told me that I would have that come out of my incidentals and they would give back $5, cool that’s fine. But they charged my card an extra $60 and they can’t even tell me for what I called today 9:17 pm mountain time to ask and the lady who helped me couldn’t give me a response. Only would tell me that it’s not a charge because it’s pending and then told me she would transfer me to her manager which sent me to voicemail and he wasn’t even in.
