“We had a great stay at Residence Inn at Vail. The cleanliness was spot on—everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is really nice and convenient, especially for getting around Vail with ease. Breakfast was good, though a few more options would make it even better. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children.”

“Requested a blanket the night before never got it. Breakfast was the same everyday poor quality. Rooms need more attention. Good location to vail city town. Overall for the price is ok for a a night or two. ”

“Incredible stay! Perfect for a ski vacation to Vail. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff is responsive. And the hot tub is perfect after a day on the slopes. Responsive shuttle service to/from Vail Village and Lionshead seals the deal. Bravo! ”

“Very disappointing stay. The hotel description does not mention that rooms are not cleaned daily. After long ski days, we repeatedly returned late at night to find no clean towels, no toilet paper, and no tissues. One of the two elevators broke on the second day and was not repaired for a week, according to staff. On the fourth day, the second elevator also broke, forcing us to carry ski equipment up four floors. Although one elevator was later fixed, it broke again on our departure day, and we had to carry five pieces of luggage downstairs with no assistance. We were also incorrectly charged for two nights of parking ($45 per night) after briefly allowing friends (not staying at the hotel) to park for a few hours. Rooms are acceptable in size but dirty, and customer service is poor. Not recommended if you expect daily housekeeping, room service, or reliable service overall.”

“Besides the $250 hold this hotel put $1180 on my card as a hold. Hopefully they will come off. Elevator s were down the day we left and had to carry our luggage down 4 floors. Breakfast , not much variety. Waffles only 2 out of the 5 days we stayed. No milk the last day.”

“Excellent stay in Vail. The staff are exceptional. Staying in Marriott more than 110 nights in 2025, I can say this staff is one of the best I've encountered at any level of hotel. Front desk, housekeeping, breakfast staff, and bartender were all courteous and professional. I highly recommend this property if you're heading to Vail.”

“Well-kept, spacious, nice breakfast, but not quiet. The walls and ceilings transmit conversations, walking, plumbing from running showers, you name it. ”

“Friendly service. Suggestion: send service to 211 to check faucet in bathroom sink. Falling off. ”

“Extremely expensive for what it is. Bathroom toilet was clogged. 2 out of the 3 TVs had no remote controls. They charged $45 for parking. Not worth it. ”

“Check in was seamless and Gabriella was so helpful. I hope that’s her name. FD agent that check me me was extremely helpful and kind. She made our stay absolutely amazing. Thank you for making our first family ski trip and birthdays one to remember. ”

“We stayed 6 nights in a studio-style room at the Residence Inn West Vail, CO. The location is excellent, with easy access to Lionshead and Golden Peak ski areas, and the complimentary shuttle service was fantastic for commuting to the ski towns. However, several aspects fell short of Marriott standards. The weekday breakfast menu was repetitive and limited, with no bread for sandwiches, no fruit salad or cut fruit, and only waffles added on weekends. When I asked the manager about rotating the menu, his response was dismissive and unfriendly. Housekeeping was also inconsistent—though the front desk stated refresh service every three nights and full service every four, it was not done until requested. Additionally, the building lacks proper noise insulation, and conversations from adjacent rooms were disruptive at night. While the shuttle and location were strong positives, the overall experience was average due to poor breakfast, service, and housekeeping. ”

“Loved the location, the atmosphere, the breakfast. To top it off the rooms and bedding were sparkling clean. And it is nice to have a bar available for relaxing in the evening. Robert at the front desk was soooo kind, attentive and informative. Will be back several times this next year. ”

“The stay itself was good. The room was beautiful and the people were kind. I’m rating the stay a 1 because the fridge didn’t work and it ruined the food we had put in there. I told front desk and no compensation was offered or anything. Also they charges me 150 for incidentals which is fine because it’s 50 nights a stay and I paid for 3 days of parking 45 per night, fine again however they told me that I would have that come out of my incidentals and they would give back $5, cool that’s fine. But they charged my card an extra $60 and they can’t even tell me for what I called today 9:17 pm mountain time to ask and the lady who helped me couldn’t give me a response. Only would tell me that it’s not a charge because it’s pending and then told me she would transfer me to her manager which sent me to voicemail and he wasn’t even in. I called back yo tell her and she just said “ if we need to give you a refund that he’ll definitely do it” she offered to take my number but how can I trust her”

“We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The breakfast was very good, and we especially loved relaxing in the jacuzzi at night. The only downside was that housekeeping did not clean our room every day, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, though, our experience was good.”
