“Very little sound proofing between floors on 3rd floor and ceiling on 2nd floor. Could actually hear a hanger fall on the floor. First two nights we got little sleep because it sounded like a soccer team above us. Staff was nice and Bistro food was very good. Bar on 3rd floor "The View" was open with limited hours. Should expand it, could be a real gathering place for guests.”

“Amazing experience!! The staff was absolutely fantastic as well :)”
— Verified Guest GUDINO •
“DISAPPOINTING. Rooms have become shabby; furniture is banged up, carpet needs to be cleaned and bathrooms need updating. There are only 3 small drawers in the entire room in a double Queen room. The small closet smelled so terrible, we could not put anything on it and made sure to always keep the door shut. However, the beds were very comfortable!”
— Verified Guest IRISH •
“I am deaf in my left ear so I have to actively listen and because of that I am a light sleeper. I told this to the very nice front desk staff and they put me in a room about 5 - 7 doors down from the main front lobby on the first floor. This was a poor choice becuase it was very noisy and there was a lot of people walking past my door and talking loudly. Other than that my stay was ok but I could not enjoy myself because I couldn't sleep at night due to all the noise from people in and going to the lobby.”
— Verified Guest Gursky F. •
“Enjoyed our stay, especially the views of the rocks formations. Great location for food and day event trips. Bistro was convenient and service great our last night. ”
— Verified Guest Perdue F. •
“hands down best Marriott Courtyard I have ever been to. Pool, viewing deck, breakfast, room. Best Bonvoy property in Sedona ”
— Verified Guest KOVACIC •
“Atmosphere was great. Lack of self service coffee is extremely annoying. To the extent that I will not stay here again. And I will avoid Marriott in general when I can.”
— Verified Guest MOREHEAD •
“We had the best vacation in Sedona. Our lodging was fabulous- friendly staff, exceptional accommodations - huge fireplace, hot tub and gym, LOVED the BISTRO- had breakfast every morning (recommend you add it to your stay) and dinner twice. Lov d that the FREE shuttle to several trails was directly across from the parking lot. The concierge assisted with both of our tours to the Grand Canyon and Sedona tour. We highly recommend! ”
— Verified Guest Woodhouse F. •
“Where do I begin? The hotel was so beautiful in an amazing setting. We felt comfortable and every thing we needed was provided.”
— Verified Guest Naughton F. •
“We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Sedona, and unfortunately we cannot recommend it in good conscience. This was one of the least accommodating hotels we have experienced, especially for guests booking through Costco Travel. We reserved a king room through Costco, which typically offers solid value and occasional perks. Before booking, I called the hotel directly and was assured that switching to a room with two queen beds upon arrival would be no problem if available, especially since we were traveling as a father and college-aged daughter. When we arrived, the front desk agent was very friendly and confirmed they had plenty of queen rooms. However, after consulting an assistant manager, she returned with a different answer: "Sorry, since you booked through Costco Travel, there's nothing we can do for you." We weren't requesting an upgrade to a suite or anything crazy like that. We just wanted a simple switch from a king room to a room with two queens. ”
— Verified Guest Elosegui F. •
“Was great would definitely stay there again. Super friendly staff. ”
— Verified Guest Koechert F. •
“We had a great time. Check-in was easy. The room met all of our needs. The pool, Jacuzzi, fire pits were utilized by our family. Uptown Sedona was very crowded and congested. It was nice to have our hotel away from all of that. There are two EB chargers and two Tesla chargers. One of the EV chargers didn't work, but I was still able to charge my car daily. ”

“We had a great time. Check-in was easy. The room met all of our needs. The pool, Jacuzzi, fire pits were utilized by our family and well enjoyed. There are two EV chargers, but one didn't work. Even with the working one I was able to charge my car daily. uptown was very crowded and congested. It was nice to be away from it all in this location.”
— Verified Guest PARKS •
“Great location! Beautiful property, friendly staff and nice rooms with great views, if you get a room on the 2nd floor. Pool was VERY cold however, disappointing for the amount of money we spent on a room, even with the warmer weather, it was too cold for even my granddaughter to really swim. And still don't understand why there is a $25/day parking fee when the room rate is so expensive and there is clearly plenty of parking available. Had a lovely breakfast at their restaurant-delicious, fresh and friendly staff. ”
— Verified Guest Ciancia F. •
“First, the good- the staff here is amazing. Special shout out to Daniela who went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Also, maintenance! Our TV went out the morning of our departure and they came within 3 minutes to reset it. The negative aspects of this hotel have more to do with how it aligns with Sedona’s jam packed, tourist-driven exorbitant prices and fees-for-everything. This Courtyard is tired and needs a refurb. Stayed 4 years ago and it was in much better shape. Wear and tear, flattened pillows, overly worn bedding and knicks and scratches on all furniture. Rooms are dark and lack outlets. The fee to park in an open, ungated, unmonitored lot is the most egregious— I understand parking in Sedona is at a premium, but this far away from town?? Come on. All in all, I will consider again if coming at a non peak time, but I’ll only return after reno. ”
— Verified Guest GOODHART •
“The room was nice, however never got maid service as promised. Big attraction online was the pool, and one of the main reasons for booking. However, the pool was filthy with bugs, band aids and other objects. It was also cloudy and looked like it needed a chlorine treatment. At no time did I ever see someone attempting to clean the pool area. It was also disappointing that there was no complimentary coffee and we had to pay $7 for two small coffees in the morning. The staff seemed unprofessional and possibly untrained when responding responding to questions and concerns. ”
— Verified Guest STUPFEL •
“Staff was fantastic. More family oriented. Lots of kids. ”
— Verified Guest BEAR •
“Room was not what I reserved. Pool area was not usable because it was dirty and cold. ”
— Verified Guest VANDREW •
“The staff were very accommodating and friendly! The pool was very relaxing with nice pool towels. The Libby area had large TVs so no March madness was missed!”
— Verified Guest Corcoran L. •
“The rooms were clean, however, the pool was not. Also, the pool is not heated and very cold. Unfortunately, you have to pay a daily fee for parking. Great views from the rooftop! ”

“We had a very nice experience checking in your hotel was very clean and the views were awesome we would definitely stay there again”
— Verified Guest Glapinski F. •
“The room was super quiet and the views were beautiful. We spent the day at the pool and relaxed! The front desk knew we were going to the pool so they put us in a room by the pool. So convenient! Really clean room and hotel in general! Great water pressure!”
— Verified Guest Corcoran L. •
“Great location with trails and views all over!”
— Verified Guest Butler F. •
“We enjoyed our stay at this Marriott. The location is not near the Uptown activity which we preferred. The drive to the trails or to uptown only took 10 mins. The hotel pool was very cold despite it being unseasonably warm out. We had to switch rooms because our first room had a very loud air conditioning unit. Maintenance quickly checked out the unit and advised front desk to switch our room. The second room was a typical Marriott room. Only complaint was that the room was very dark and did have enough lighting. Otherwise, the hotel and grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed our visit.”
— Verified Guest Mercer F. •
“The check in process was not welcoming at all. Otherwise everything was fine. ”
— Verified Guest Capuano F. •
“The room, location, pool and jacuzzi”
— Verified Guest Adoni F. •

“Hotel was conveniently located near trailheads, accessible to shuttle and had a 24hr gym and pool. ”
— Verified Guest Granoff F. •
“We were surprised how terrible the rooms were for the price. Dirty! Mechanical System was horrible and awful sound separation. We heard everyone around us, above and next to. For the price we expected a much nicer building. I would not recommend this hotel.”
— Verified Guest Cook F. •
“We loved it!! Everything was great. The rooftop was our fav!!”
— Verified Guest Blanton F. •

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. It was very clean, the lobby was very homey. The pool was warm and the views are so spectacular, you never have to leave just stay in the upstairs lookout! Every employee we met was kind, funny and always willing to go the extra mile. That alone makes us want to come back to this hotel. Its location is absolutely perfect for downtown Sedona. Why stay anywhere else? ”
— Verified Guest Salmon F. •
“We checked into a very clean and cozy room with incredibly welcoming staff. The hotel dining was exceptional, and we spent a couple hours on the 3rd floor rooftop observatory eating our dinner and taking in truly breathtaking, unparalleled views. It was a wonderful overnight " stay-cation"!”

“We recently stayed at the Marriott courtyard in Sedona Arizona. Beautiful hotel surrounded by amazing scenery and even had an observation deck and two outdoor meditation gardens. Good location with the Sedona Hiking Shuttle available right next door. Heated pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Indoor fire place, bar and small cafe with great options. Rooms were very nicely decorated. This hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. ”
— Verified Guest LANCERLOUGHRAN •
“Nice Hotel. Sink clogged. Air conditioner noisy. $25 a day for parking is ridiculous. Especially for a Titanium member. ”

“For the most part the stay was good. Unfortunately, did not have a good experience with the laundry facility. Your electronic pay system in the laundry room stinks. You should explore a different type of payment system.”
— Verified Guest KLEBERGER •
“Loved the location- so convenient. It was wonderful having a little patio and being able to go outside and walk the back of hotel as well as the trail was so special. Customer support was wonderful- I wish there could be a bit more special treatment for the platinum level- somewhat minimal compared to other hotels. ”

— Verified Guest Biber F. •
“Over-priced for the room while charging you an extra $25 per day to park your car in an open lot. I stayed two nights and they tried to charge me three days. Sedona is beautiful but the hotel felt like they were charging for everything because of limited choices. My opinion ”
— Verified Guest Tyler F. •
“We enjoyed our stay! Nice amenities, clean rooms, plenty of parking and unbeatable views”
— Verified Guest Brandon F. •
“Location is great. Wonderful views from the view deck. But kinda silly they charged 25 a day to park when there is plenty of room. And no complimentary coffee in lobby. Everything is à la carte. But it’s Sedona so I guess if you there you supposed to just pay. ”

— Verified Guest JOHNSON •
“Enjoyable stay in a very beautiful place. ”
— Verified Guest COLLODI •
“Our room was spacious and had a great view. Had a pool with lounge chairs to relax outdoors. Unfortunately there were several young sports teams staying there who were running around the pool and were very loud. They also occupied many of the tables and were very noisy. We were pretty much forced to remain in our room while were were staying atvThe Courtyard Sedona.,”
— Verified Guest FOLEY •
“Location . Consideration of staff member at check-in . ”

“Upon checking in I was informed that my room was upgraded because of my birthday. Also had a beautiful view! ”
— Verified Guest FOLEY •
“We usually stay at Marriott hotels and have always had wonderful experiences, but unfortunately, this stay didn’t quite meet our expectations. Our room was located near general bathrooms, maintenance rooms, the laundry area, and the elevator, which made it feel less private and comfortable—especially as a single mom traveling with two kids and a nanny. Room service also never arrived despite multiple requests, and I had to manage extra towels, coffee refills, and garbage changes myself. On the positive side, the girls really enjoyed the pool and had a great time there, which was a bright spot of our stay. While they are still excited to return to Sedona, they said they would prefer a different hotel next time.”
— Verified Guest BUKAUSKAITE •

“Left with 80-100 bites all over my body! Notified front desk, manager and housekeeping manager and absolutely no one showed any concern or compassion. Instead everyone has been extremely rude and unconcerned! Said they’d get an exterminator to come in but that’s it. No apology, no concern and didn’t even mention blocking the room until I suggested no one else be allowed to stay in it. Totally unacceptable!”
— Verified Guest RODRIGUEZ •

— Verified Guest WALSH •
“Stay was uneventful. Beautiful location. Well maintained. Cleaning staff were great. Cold water in the front is so good. The front desk person at the time of check-in was so rude and unfriendly and demanding us to pay $300 more to cancel (the third party reservation)and rebook because of a name issue of the family member. Thankfully later said that manager intervened and took care of the issue. ”

“The room was fine, but the front desk staff were generally not very friendly.”
— Verified Guest R. •
“$3.50 for a pint bottle of water at front desk. No drinking water provided in room. Swimming pool and spa heater not working for our entire stay. They did offer us to use the pool/spa at their other hotel next door but not convenient for our group with little kids. Standard room cleaning is every other day. We asked (at check in) for every third day as this would be one time in the middle of our stay. Didn’t happen. Great landscaping and access to easy hiking trail at one end of hotel. $25 for unsecured parking. Feels like nickle and dime revenue grab instead of charging (maintenance of parking lot) in room rate. This is not an urban location with secured underground or gated/monitored lot. Lots of little issues that made the hotel disappointing for the price.”
— Verified Guest Y. •
“Beautiful hotel with stunning views - hot tub was down but able to use the one next door at Residence Inn. ”
— Verified Guest P. •

“The mattress was not comfortable. There was no tea bags in room. We asked for teabags but they said we have to buy it at the bistro????? Never been to any hotel that would not have teabags availably . The hotel is out town with a lot of parking space but they charged us for parking,,,,, over all I would not stay there due to location and the mattress which was very uncomfortable.”
— Verified Guest U. •
“I paid extra to have a beautiful view from my balcony, and she stuck us with a view of a building, no red rock! Also she gave us a room all the way to the very back, we were so exhausted just to walk to our room, and I’m an elderly lady with disabilities!”
