“Stayed for 4 nights in a hovel of a room (view of a concrete wall 2 ft from the window; room was below the level of the parking lot). No housekeeper would have come at all if I had not made a specific request late on the 3rd day. Shower pan was gross, no one is cleaning this place properly. Had to ASK for everything, even toilet paper. Pool is nice, breakfast was ok and the staff in the dining room worked hard and were attentive. Basically I recommend staying somewhere else. “My husband and I really enjoyed our four-night stay at the Residence Inn Sedona. The location was excellent - especially for easy access to Boynton Canyon and Airport Mesa. The amenities were a big plus, including laundry, breakfast, the meditation site, and the pool. Adam, who helped at breakfast, truly stood out. The website gave the impression that we would have a scenic view, which wasn’t the case, so that was a bit disappointing. “We were traveling with family that included 4 adults, an infant, and a dog. The rooms were wonderful. The staff were even better!! One key note as a traveler is that the shower layout is my favorite ever! Knowing which door to use in addition to the placement of the water control, small ‘bench’, and washcloth bar were perfect. The only drawback for us were the guests above us on our last night allowing a child to stomp around as well as bang on pots/pans. Of course, that is very difficult to avoid. “It was wonderful! I would have preferred to have a few wrapped paper cups in the room along with the “real” glasses. I prefer the sanitary aspect of wrapped, disposable cups. Similarly, I would have liked to have a plastic liner for the ice container. The breakfast bar was excellent. Our previous Marriott had a selection of cheeses that could be added to sandwiches. I really liked that. I was a bit disappointed that there were no waffles during the week. But the service was excellent. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable about food but not about tours. A display case of brochures would have been appreciated. Overall, well done. Thank you for a very comfortable stay!”

We had just finished a few hikes in the area so we really appreciated being able to cool off by the pool. “The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The location is great, not in a congested area but not far from anything in town. There is a beautiful pool and hot tub. The only downside was the pull-out bed was not very comfortable for an adult to sleep on. ”

“This hotel is wonderful!! The rooms are configured efficiently, the bathroom and shower are great. The water pressure and water temperature were perfect, with the right amount of towel bars and shelves. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great too, out away from the congestion and at a traffic signal. The facility is immaculate and user friendly, and the staff are always working to keep it in top shape. A special shout out to the 2 gentlemen that host the breakfast daily. Their work ethic goes above and beyond, and they are friendly and attentive to the needs of their guests! “The property is very nice and has many amenities that you might expect at higher end properties. The heated outdoor pool and spa along with large fire pit. The only negative would be the 25.00 per night parking charge for self parking. Seems a bit pricey for the privilege of parking your car. It is a tourist area, but the next time I would look at other properties that do not or have a lower charge for self parking.”

“It’s a nice location & I’ve stayed the area before at the Courtyard though. There were a couple sub par services with this Residence Inn: The front desk asked for my business ID? I’m a platinum member and stayed at countless Marriotts last year and no one ever asked for that- I book through business access with my company all the time- I have a business cards but a business ID? It was odd and time consuming at check in as they were entering in information that they should already have off of my biz card. The shower floor was dirty and showed a pic and they blamed the red rock- the filth wasn’t red it was like no one bothered to scrub it. Then they never emailed my receipt and I had to call twice, tried multiple times as emails from their system weren’t coming through and the person on the phone was a bit impatient and rude. Had to suggest they send it through their front desk email and it finally worked. I travel here often for work & would consider a better location next time.”

“The location was on the outskirts of Sedona. My family of 4 traveled from Phoenix to Sedona. The facilities were fine if not very confusingly laid out. The pull out sofa bed was beyond uncomfortable, it was not sleepable. Unfortunately we had to move the mattress to the floor so my daughters could sleep. Which is unacceptable in my opinion. As I checked out I mentioned the pull out sofa was unacceptable and the person at the front desk stated, we have told them multiple times but no one has listened to us. ”

“We weren’t happy with our stay. Being a gold/platinum member I figure you would get treated better. The gentleman in front of me got an upgrade. However, when I asked for one the outcome and response was totally different. The lie was they were sold out. I went on the app and the two bedroom suites were available for booking. I understand an upgrade is not always possible but don’t lie in my face. ”
