“Check-in and front desk service was top notch. Excellent.
The room was nicely appointed. However in the bathroom was a large web on the side of the sink and Large brown recluse looking spider. I killed it and cleaned up the web. Might want pest control to look.
Breakfast was a disappointment to say the least. Breakfast sandwiches that had sat in the pan for hours. Bottom bun so hard you couldn’t bite into it. We tossed them and tried the egg bites. Even worse than the sandwiches. We finally just took a banana. Breakfast was awful. You need to attend to it more often and change out products every so often.

“Best hotel in Thatcher/Safford! And we've stayed in them all. It truly felt like a spa experience and everything was sparkling clean. The blackout curtain, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and even the shower faucet on the opposite side of the shower head were luxurious. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and had lots of choices. We had the option to go next door to use their pool if we wanted, which we will definitely take advantage of next time! ”

Her responsiveness and willingness to assist us were deeply appreciated and surprising, especially in an era when customer service often seems undervalued. Finding such a high level of service is truly rare. We arrived at the TownePlace Suites in Thatcher after experiencing issues with another hotel chain, with no reservations or plans in place. When I approached the front desk and mentioned to Gwen that I was a Marriott Bonvoy member in need of assistance, she immediately reassured me not to worry and assured me she would take care of us. I am a frequent traveler who has also had the opportunity to work for Choice Hotels and Hilton. However, I chose Marriott as my preferred brand, and Gwen reminded me why. Thank you, Gwen.
